Welcome to the Gemini Full Moon:

The Gemini Full Moon invites you to tell your truth — first to yourself, and then to the world. This lunation brings clarity to the stories you’ve been living, the words you’ve been speaking, and the thoughts you’ve been repeating that no longer serve who you are becoming. Gemini asks you to open your mind and body to new perspectives while staying anchored in what matters most. This full moon reminds you that every shift, every healing, and every new direction begins with a single honest moment. Let this moon illuminate both the details and the big picture — so you can release what’s no longer yours and rewrite your life with curiosity, clarity, and courage.

Our featured Samputa Mudra reflects this energy of truthful integration — a hand shape that helps you hold your inner knowing with compassion, create space between thoughts, ease mental tension, and bring clarity to the stories rising for release. You can use this mudra as an anchor for your Gemini Full Moon ritual, or pair it with the reflections and movement practices from the Gemini Full Moon Embodied Workbook to deepen your experience of clarity and communication.

And if you’d like to move through the lunar cycles in community, our memberships are here for you. We hold safe space through live studio and virtual classes, new and full moon workbooks, astrological season practices, and an ever-growing library of on-demand content. Check out ways to practice mudras and more with our empowering yoga community on our live class schedule.

Above all, Katrina Marie Yoga is a space to practice, reflect, and remember that you don’t have to unravel every story at once — or alone. You can simply start where the moon is — right here, right now — and let her guide you back to your breath, your clarity, and your truth.

So take what you need and leave what you don’t. Perhaps for now, begin by aligning with the energy of the Gemini Full Moon through the following mudra and the tools that accompany it.

🫶🏻Practice Samputa Mudra:

WHEN:
Around the Gemini Full Moon, when the moon illuminates Gemini’s energy of truth, communication, perspective, and integration. This is the time when your inner voice grows louder, helping you recognize what thoughts, stories, and patterns are no longer aligned with who you’re becoming.

WHY:
The Gemini Full Moon invites you to tell the truth — first to yourself. Samputa Mudra supports the release of old narratives, mental tension, and scattered thoughts so you can create space for clarity, honesty, and aligned communication. This mudra helps you see your stories clearly, hold them with compassion, and gently release what is no longer yours to carry.

BENEFITS:

  • Encourages clarity and truthful self-reflection

  • Eases mental overwhelm and scattered thinking

  • Creates space between thoughts for insight to arise

  • Supports thoughtful, compassionate communication

  • Helps integrate dual perspectives (inner + outer truth)

  • Softens tension through the throat, jaw, and neck

  • Supports thyroid health and the throat (vishuddha) chakra

  • Anchors your nervous system during emotional processing

HOW:
Find a comfortable seat.
Hold your left hand in front of your solar plexus or navel, palm cupped and facing up.
Cup your right hand above it, palm facing down, with your right fingertips resting on the edge of your left thumb.
Soften your shoulders. Align your spine. Let the shape feel honest and easeful.

BREATHE:
Inhale deeply through your nose in four equal pieces. With each piece, fill your belly and mentally vibrate the mantra “SAT”.
Pause gently.
Exhale through your nose in four equal pieces. With each piece, draw your belly to your spine and mentally vibrate the mantra “NAM”.
Pause at the bottom.
Continue for 3–5 minutes before releasing control of your breath.

MANTRA:
Repeat silently or aloud:

  • I set myself free by living and expressing my truth.

  • I open to new perspectives with curiosity and grace.

  • I am the author of my story, and I choose what comes next.

EMBODY YOUR RELEASE:

When your practice feels complete, release the mudra and let your hands rest anywhere on your body that feels grounding or supportive. Notice the feeling of your breath, and see if you can sense clarity moving through your mind.

Let the Gemini Full Moon illuminate what’s ready to be released — outdated stories, old beliefs, scattered thoughts, or versions of yourself that no longer reflect the truth of who you are. Offer them to the air to be carried away, making space for new, more aligned narratives to take root.

Invite your breath to clear.
Invite your thoughts to soften.
Invite your truth to rise.

As you release, may you remember that clarity itself is a form of liberation — a doorway into the version of you that’s ready to be lived.
