Taurus Full Moon Mudra: Murti — ground, steady, and anchor into feeling at home in your beautiful body, peaceful in your calm mind, and rooted in your abundant worthiness with the Taurus Full Moon
Welcome to the Taurus Full Moon:
The Taurus Full Moon invites you to pause, listen, and root into what is real. It shines a steady light on where you’ve outgrown comfort and are ready for transformation. Taurus reminds you that growth doesn’t need to be rushed—it unfolds through stillness, through the body, and through your deep sense of worth.
Our featured Murti Mudra reflects this energy of embodied stillness—a grounding hand shape that connects you to steadiness, comfort, and trust in your own growth. You can use this mudra as an anchor for your Taurus Full Moon ritual, or pair it with the reflections and movement practices from the Taurus Full Moon Embodied Workbook to deepen your experience.
And if you’d like to move through the lunar cycles in community, our memberships are here for you. We hold safe space through live studio and virtual classes, new and full moon workbooks, astrological season practices, and an ever-growing library of on-demand content. Check out ways to practice mudras and more with our empowering yoga community on our live class schedule.
Above all, Katrina Marie Yoga is a space to practice, reflect, and remember that you don’t have to do this all at once—or alone. You can simply start where the moon is—right here, right now—and let her guide you home to your body and your truth.
So take what you need and leave what you don’t. Perhaps for now, start by aligning with the energy of the Taurus Full Moon through the following mudra and the tools that accompany it.
🫶🏻Practice Murti Mudra:
WHEN:
Around the Taurus Full Moon, when the moon illuminates Taurus’s grounded, embodied energy of transformation, self-worth, and abundant beauty.
WHY:
The Taurus Full Moon is a time to slow down and rediscover strength in stillness. This mudra reminds you that even rest is growth—it helps you feel secure, rooted, and worthy of the life you’re creating.
BENEFITS:
Supports steadiness and comfort in body and mind
Supports posture and alignment of the spine
Encourages body awareness and honoring
Cultivates a sense of groundedness to ease anxiety
Encourages presence, patience, and trust in your process
Facilitates a connection to the earth element
Eases stress and reduces blood pressure
Supports the muladhara (root) chakra
HOW:
Find a comfortable seat. Press your palms together and interlace your fingers outside your hands. Cross your right thumb on top of your left and extend your pinky fingers together. Rest this below your navel or in your lap. Soften your shoulders and align your spine.
BREATHE:
Inhale deeply through your nose as you fill your belly.
Pause and embrace the still place at the top of your breath.
Exhale fully through your nose as you surrender your belly.
Pause again and feel the stillness at the bottom of your breath.
Continue for 3–5 minutes, allowing the pauses between breaths to become sacred spaces of potential and peace.
MANTRA:
Repeat silently or aloud:
I anchor into stillness and allow space for transformation.
Centered in my body, I reclaim my worth.
I open fully to the beauty and abundance already within and around me.
EMBODY YOUR RELEASE:
When your practice feels complete, let your hands rest anywhere on your body that feels comforting. Feel the support of the ground beneath you and the steady rhythm of your breath. Notice where and what feels lighter, softer, or more at ease.
Let this full moon illuminate what’s ready to be released — tension, self-doubt, or the belief that you must always be doing to be worthy. Offer it to the earth with gratitude. Feel your breath, your body, and your being grounded in enoughness.
As you release, may you remember that stillness is sacred — it’s where your strength, beauty, and transformation quietly take root.
May this Taurus Full Moon guide you toward transformation, stillness, and embodied beauty.
