It helps you align with your potential and confidence while staying true to who you are. Leo is a fire sign and this mudra helps you tap into the determination of the fire element so you can use your own inner fire to achieve self-mastery. It is shape that physically supports digestion and energetically supports your solar plexus chakra.

Why practice Brahma Mudra:

To help you understand your potential and use your determination and self-esteem to achieve authentic self-mastery.

How to practice Brahma Mudra:

From a comfortable seat, tuck your thumbs into your palms and make soft fists with both hands. Bring your palms to face upward and gently press the backs of your fists together in front of your body. Hold your elbows out to the sides and rest the shape gently against your solar plexus chakra, just above your navel.  Soften your shoulders and align your spine..

🧘🏻‍♀️MEDITATION: Ego Self-Mastery

WHY:

A kundalini meditation that helps you use your ego in a productive rather than limiting way to facilitate to self-mastery.

PLACE:

Find a comfortable seat. Perhaps sit on a bolster or blanket to get your hips a little higher than your knees.

MUDRA:

Bring the tip of each finger to the base of itself on each hand. Keep your thumbs extended. Hold your arms up at about 60 degree with your thumbs reaching up to the sky. 

PRANAYAMA:

Begin breath of fire. Powerfully hug your navel back to your spine with each exhale. Let the coming inhale be passive and somewhat quick before you take another powerful exhale hug. Continue for 1-3 minutes. 

You can always substitute long deep breaths for breath of fire if you need or want to. 

TO END:

Inhale deeply as you bring the thumb tips to touch overhead. Savor this inhale as long as is comfortable. Perhaps imagine hugging your root chakra (at the very base of your spine) up and into yourself as you take the gaze to your third eye at the center of your forehead. When you need to exhale, release your arms and your breath and pause to reflect.
