Kubera Mudra: remember abundance is your true nature, use your energy intentionally, and live a radiant life

True abundance is not something you accumulate. It is something you remember.

Kubera Mudra is a gesture of abundance — and this practice invites you to ground into your solar plexus, release the worry and limiting beliefs that sit between you and what is genuinely yours, and let your whole system feel what it is like to live radiantly and intentionally. Not someday. Now.

This mudra is especially resonant with Taurus energy, which invites you to slow down, arrive fully in your body, and receive the beauty and abundance that is already present in your life. But its wisdom belongs to any moment you find yourself holding back from what is genuinely yours — any time limiting beliefs, worry, or a sense of unworthiness pull you out of your own radiance. Because the truth is, you do not have to earn a beautiful life. You do not have to be further along, do more, or become something different first. You are already worthy of the abundance that is meant for you.

Kubera Mudra gives you somewhere to place your hands, somewhere to ground, and a practice that reminds your whole system of exactly that. Practice this mudra anytime you want to release what is in the way, return to your center, and remember that a radiant and abundant life is already yours to live.

Why practice Kubera Mudra:

Practice Kubera Mudra to ground your energy in the present moment — releasing the worry, resentment, and limiting beliefs that block your natural abundance — and return to the confidence, radiance, and intentional presence that is already within you.

How to practice Kubera Mudra:

Find a comfortable seated place. Bring your fingertips into the center of your palms and wrap your thumbs around the outside of your fingers to form gentle fists. Extend your index and middle fingers to touch the tips of your thumb on each hand. Rest the backs of your hands on your legs comfortably, or hold your forearms parallel to the earth at about the level of your solar plexus. Soften your shoulders and align your spine.

🧘🏻‍♀️MEDITATION: Circling Abundance + Radiance

WHY:

Practice this meditation to move abundance through your whole system — not as a concept, but as something your body innately knows how to receive, circulate, and live. The combination of mudra, movement, and mantra works together to activate that knowing, so that a radiant and abundant life stops being something you reach for and starts being something you remember has always been yours.

PLACE:

Find a comfortable seat. Perhaps elevate your sit bones on the edge of a pillow, bolster, or folded blanket.

MUDRA:

Invitation to bring your hands into Kubera Mudra by bringing your fingertips into the center of your palms and wrapping your thumbs around the outside of your fingers to form gentle fists. Extend your index and middle fingers to touch the tips of your thumb on each hand. Rest the backs of your hands on your legs comfortably, or hold your forearms parallel to the earth at about the level of your solar plexus. Soften your shoulders and align your spine.

DRISHTI:

Soften or close your eyes if that feels safe and comfortable.

PRANAYAMA:

Breathe naturally in and out through your nose if available.

MOVEMENT:

Invitation to hold your mudra near your ribs with your elbows close to your body. Move your hands in small, somewhat quick circles in an outward direction. Your left hand moves clockwise and your right moves counterclockwise.

MANTRA:

Invitation to mentally or verbally work with the mantra Har, Haray, Haree as you circle and breathe. This is a mantra of abundance.

TO END:

On an inhale, pause your movement and be with your breath for as long as is comfortable. See if you can feel abundance and radiance circulate within you. When you are ready to exhale, release your hands to land palms up comfortably. Take a moment to reflect on all the radiance and abundance already present in your life.

✨MANTRA:

I live a radiant and abundant life.

May you remember that abundance is your true nature and live your most radiant life!
