Libra Full Moon Mudra: heal your relationships from the inside out, find beauty and balance in every area of your life, and gracefully receive support as much as you give it.
Welcome to the Libra Full Moon:
The Libra Full Moon invites you to look honestly and lovingly at the relationships that shape your life — beginning with the one you have with yourself. This lunation brings illumination to where you give freely and where you hold back, the ways you have neglected your own needs in service of others, and the past hurts that may still be living in your heart. Libra asks you to seek beauty and harmony in all parts of your life while remembering that balance always begins within. With the Sun holding space in Aries across the sky, this Full Moon reminds you that tending to yourself is the foundation of every meaningful relationship you hold. When relational healing meets courageous self-love, you become someone who gives and receives support with equal grace. Let this moon support a gentle and honest opening — so you can find healing in your relationships, restore balance to every area of your life, accept the support that surrounds you, and love yourself as fiercely as you love everyone else.
Our featured Trimurti Mudra — a hand shape that supports transitions, balance, and harmony — reflects the centering and relational energy of this lunation. You can use this mudra as an anchor for your Libra Full Moon ritual, or pair it with the reflections and movement practices from the Libra Full Moon Embodied Workbook to deepen your experience of relational healing and graceful, balanced living.
And if you'd like to move through the lunar cycles in community, our memberships are here for you. We hold safe space through live studio and virtual classes, new and full moon workbooks, astrological season practices, and an ever-growing library of on-demand content. Check out ways to practice mudras and more with our empowering yoga community on our live class schedule.
Above all, Katrina Marie Yoga is a space to practice, reflect, and remember that healing your relationships begins with coming home to yourself. You don't have to abandon yourself to belong. You are allowed to give and receive in equal measure.
So take what you need and leave what you don't. Perhaps for now, begin by aligning with the energy of the Libra Full Moon through the following mudra and the tools that accompany it.
🫶🏻Practice Trimurti Mudra:
WHEN:
Around the Libra Full Moon, when the moon illuminates themes of relational healing, balanced living, and accepting support. This is a potent time to notice where you may be over-giving, holding back, or abandoning yourself in service of others — and what is ready to be released so balance can return.
WHY:
The Libra Full Moon invites you to heal and harmonize your relationships from the inside out. Trimurti Mudra supports transitions, balance, and harmony — helping you return to your natural state of peace so you can give and receive support with equal grace. This mudra helps you embody relational healing rooted in courageous self-love.
BENEFITS:
Cultivates centering, balance, and harmony as a return to your natural state
Directs breath and awareness into the pelvis and low back
Increases circulation to the reproductive system
Reduces stress and supports nervous system settling
Instills equanimity and a steady sense of ease
Cultivates serenity for moving through all life's moments with grace
Supports integration of body, mind, heart, and spirit
Opens and balances the sacral (svadhisthana) chakra, center of self-nourishment
Aligns with the flowing, adaptive nature of the water element
HOW:
Find a comfortable seat with both sit bones anchored.
Bring your hands in front of your lower belly with your fingers pointing down.
Join the tips of your thumbs together and connect your index fingers to form a triangle.
Rest this gently on your body if it is comfortable.
Soften your shoulders and align your spine.
BREATHE:
Take a full breath in through your nose. Exhale through pursed lips in an audible whistling sound.
Continue for 1–3 minutes (or up to 3–5 minutes if that feels supportive).
MANTRA:
Repeat silently or aloud:
I heal and harmonize my relationships from the inside out.
I find beauty and balance in all parts of my life.
I gracefully give and receive support.
EMBODY YOUR RELEASE:
When your practice feels complete, release control of your breath and sit with the hand shape as you reflect. Notice what shifts as you allow the need to over-give to soften and your own sense of balance to rise.
Let the Libra Full Moon illuminate what is ready to be released — the habit of abandoning yourself to belong, the weight of giving more than you have capacity for, or the resistance to accepting support that is genuinely offered. Allow harmony to replace striving. Feel it in your body.
Invite your breath to settle. Invite your belly to soften. Invite your relationships to feel balanced and real.
As you release, may you remember that healing your relationships begins with coming home to yourself.
May this Libra Full Moon remind you that balance begins within, you are worthy of harmony in all your relationships, and you are allowed to receive as much as you give.
