Pushan Mudra: digest, transform, and release what is no longer needed so you can find calm in personal power and balanced health
Our last share focused on the heart-brain, and now we drop down even further - to the gut-brain!
Your gut also has so much neurology! It just KNOWS.
Let its knowing nourish and steady you. Pushan Mudra facilitates digestion, transformation, and release so you can return to the truth of who you know you are.
Pushan Mudra is a wonderful handshape to work with anytime you want to connect to calm through personal power and balanced health, but especially during a shift from Leo to Virgo season when the energy naturally wants this for you too! Leo is a fire sign that connects you to the fire in your belly while Virgo is an Earth sign somatically ruled by the belly. This mudra helps you tap into your personal power through a connection to the fire element and your solar plexus chakra. It is a shape that physically supports the digestion and assimilation of literal food nourishment, but also lived experiences.
Find calm and steadiness through your gut brain knowing and your inner power with this mudra and these tools to support its intention!

Inhale in four equal pieces through your nose. Really use the power of your navel point to draw in each sip of air. Pause. Exhale in four equal pieces. Again, really power each on with your navel point. Pause. Continue for 3-5 minutes.

Invitation to attach the mantra SAT to each inhale piece and NAM to each exhale piece. SAT NAM translates to truth is my identity. It will help you digest everything until all that is left is the truth of who you really are.
TO END:
Take one full inhale. Savor that breath in as you hug your root chakra at the base of your spine up and in and gaze to your third eye at the center of your forehead. See if you can feel into energy circulating around your manipura chakra, just above your navel. When you need to release your breath and pause as you sit with the mudra for reflection.
✨MANTRA:
I digest life experiences with ease and grace so I can be the best me
I hope you digest and release what is no longer for you so you can experience all that your are meant to be!
